Text of Tract Below

FACT #1 - God created the universe. “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1)
FACT #2 - God created man and woman. “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.” (Genesis 1:27)
FACT #3 - God gave the man He created a command to obey. “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” (Genesis 2:16-17)
FACT #4 - The woman God created was deceived and tempted by the devil to disobey God. “...Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” (Genesis 3:4-5)
FACT #5 - The woman listened to the devil, disobeyed God, and then tempted her husband to do the same. “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.” (Genesis 3:6)
FACT #6 - The man and woman tried to hide their sin from God. “And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.” (Genesis 3:8)
FACT #7 - Sin cannot be hid from God, for He knows all things, sees all things, and is present everywhere. “And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? ...Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? ...behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.” (Genesis 3:9&11, Numbers 32:23)
FACT #8 - God had to judge them for their sin. “Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden...So He drove out the man….” (Genesis 3:23-24)
FACT #9 - Shortly after sin entered into the world through Adam’s sin, the first murder took place. “...and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.” (Genesis 4:8)
FACT #10 - Mankind then continually spiraled downward in sin. “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” (Genesis 6:5) Contrast this with how God looked at His creation before Adam sinned, “And God saw every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was very good....” (Genesis 1:31) People are to blame for evil and suffering, not God!
FACT #11 - Death is a result of the sin nature passed on to all people through Adam. “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” (Romans 5:12)
FACT #12 - We sin because of our sin nature, resulting in separation from God. “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear.” (Isaiah 59:2)
FACT #13 - Our sins have made us unrighteous before God, “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10)
FACT #14 - Unrighteousness before God is sin. “All unrighteousness is sin.…” (1 John 5:17)
FACT #15 - All people are unrighteous because all have sinned, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
FACT #16 - To sin means to violate God’s holy law, the 10 Commandments. “Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy…Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” (Romans 7:12, 1 John 3:4)
FACT #17 - Because God is righteous and just, He must judge sinners for breaking His law. “...righteousness and judgment are the habitation of His throne…” He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with His truth.” (Psalm 97:2, 96:13) God does not judge according to the truth of man.
FACT #18 - The penalty for violating God’s holy law is death. “...the soul that sinneth, it shall die.” (Ezekiel 18:4)
FACT #19 - After death comes judgment, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” (Hebrews 9:27)
FACT #20 - If you die without your sins forgiven, you will stand before God at the white throne judgment and will be cast forever into the lake of fire, which is hell. “And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and heaven fled away… And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books....And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:11,12,15)
FACT #21 - It’s possible for you not to have to stand before God at this judgment, but you must first have your sins forgiven through Jesus Christ. “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners....In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.…” (1 Timothy 1:15, Ephesians 1:7)
FACT #22 - It is Jesus Christ who paid the penalty for your sins by dying on the cross for you. “But God commendeth His love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our lord.” (Romans 5:8, 6:23)
FACT #23 - If you will confess to Jesus you are a sinner, turn from your sins, and call upon Him in faith to be your Lord and Savior, He will forgive you and pardon you from the penalty of your sins. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (1 John 1:9, Romans 10:13)
FACT #24 - Jesus gives three promises to all who call upon Him for salvation: (1) “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” (John 6:47) (2) “...I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:40) (3) “...and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” (John 5:24)
FACT #25 - The Savior is alive in heaven today and you must call on Him to save you from God’s judgment. The choice is yours: eternal life in heaven with God or eternal damnation in the lake of fire. We pray you choose Christ. Amen.
